The Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Wines of Lanzarote celebrates the extraordinary success achieved by its wineries in the 2026 edition of the CINVE International Wine Competition, "one of the most prestigious and relevant competitions in the global oenological landscape."

In this edition, the island's wines have achieved a total of eleven medals: four awards of Grand Gold, five medals of Gold and two of Silver. These results not only reinforce Lanzarote's position in the international market, but also underscore the versatility and the very high quality of its productions.

“These awards are a direct recognition of the perseverance of our winegrowers and winemakers, who have known how to interpret a unique landscape to create wines with an unparalleled personality. That Lanzarote returns from such a demanding competition with four Grand Golds demonstrates that we are in the elite of the sector,” highlights Jorge Rodríguez, president of the Regulatory Council of the DOP Vinos de Lanzarote.
