Bodegas Timanfaya has been awarded with three medals at the VinEspaña 2025 National Wine Competition, held in Zaragoza on February 12 and 13.
The VinEspaña National Wine Competition has reached its seventh edition in 2025, establishing itself as one of the most prestigious wine competitions in the national scene. Its relevance is reflected in the participation of nearly a thousand wine references from all Spanish denominations of origin.
This event, organized by the Spanish Federation of Oenology, brings together the most influential professionals in the sector: prestigious oenologists, specialized journalists, and experts who dedicate their lives to wine excellence. The distinction of Bodegas Timanfaya wines at this event not only confirms their oenological quality but also highlights the unique character of their land and the dedication of their team.
The most outstanding reference, Timanfaya Moscatel Reserva 1999, has obtained the highest distinction of Gran Oro (Grand Gold), thus recognizing more than two decades of dedication in its elaboration. For its part, the Timanfaya Malvasía Dulce Natural 2018 and the Timanfaya Tinto 2023 have been recognized with Gold Medal, demonstrating the versatility and consistency in the quality of the winery.
"Patience, dedication, and tireless work have been recognized in one of the most prestigious competitions in the country. These awards are recognition of the oenological quality and the unique character of our land," says Jorge Rodríguez, president of the Regulatory Council.
