73% of HiperDino stores are managed by women. The Canarian food chain reports that this is a "group widely represented in the
company and at all levels of the organization".
Of the 8,717 people who are part of its staff, 5,424 are women, which is equivalent to 62% of the total.
"Equality between men and women at work continues to be one of the great challenges of society," the company explains. Which is why HiperDino "wants to be an example of opportunities for women in terms of participation in the professional world."
In parallel, the Canarian company "promotes measures to promote work-life balance, ensuring 48 hours of rest for all workers and implementing a flexible schedule in the offices."
Hiperdino has also reported that "it is currently working on other new measures to help reconcile work and family life for both women and men."
