The Arrecife City Council publishes this Wednesday, the 5th, in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) the provisional list of people admitted and excluded to opt for the largest call for professionals for the Social Services Area of this institution, with the call for six positions of social worker, by the system of free opposition.

For these oppositions, more than one hundred people have applied. The provisional list reflects the admitted and excluded, also with two positions for people with disabilities, and the period of five business days is opened for people to submit the allegations they deem appropriate. This period begins to count from tomorrow, after today's publication in the BOP.

Arrecife has underway the largest public offer call in the history of the city council. A call that, depending on the categories and areas, are already in different administrative processes, will reinforce the municipal staff with nearly fifty new jobs for General Administration Technicians, Assistants, Social Workers and Social Educators, Psychologists, Operators, Architects and Industrial Engineers, among others.

For the mayor, having more professionals in the areas is one of the objectives of his Government for this term, "which will allow for more service to citizens and to meet the growing demands that Arrecife is experiencing as the third capital of the Canary Islands."

The councilor responsible for Human Resources, Eli Merino, has stressed that this new step taken by her Department will allow the incorporation of more social workers to the Social Services Area of the City Council, one of the departments that will be reinforced with this opposition process to cover more positions.
