The Cabildo of Lanzarote has taken a step to strengthen administrative management and improve public services by announcing 22 new public employment positions. These positions, which will be filled through a competitive selection process, include positions in different areas such as slaughterer (3 positions), graduate in Geography (2 positions), administrative assistant (3 positions), caregiver (5 positions), monitor (4 positions), skipper (2 positions), service worker (1 position), and psychologist (2 positions).

The president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, states that this announcement responds to an effort to strengthen the departments of the Cabildo and improve the efficiency of the services provided to citizens. "From the Cabildo, we are constantly working to optimize the management of public resources and offer a quality service. With the incorporation of more professionals, we improve the key departments of the island administration, which will allow us to move towards a more modern and competitive Lanzarote in all areas."

The Councilor for Human Resources, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, highlights the importance of these positions to continue offering a more effective public service. "This type of announcement not only serves to fill vacant positions but also to improve the internal operation of the Cabildo, adapt to the needs of the island, and respond to the new challenges of public administration."

The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days, starting from this Tuesday, March 18, that is, the day after the publication of the extract of the announcement in the Official State Gazette (BOE). Those interested may submit their application electronically through the official portal of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, completing the form and attaching the required documentation that can be found in the rules governing the selection process published in the BOP of March 3.
