The Lanzarote Tax Authority, an organization chaired by the Minister of Finance and Contracting of the Island Council, María Jesús Tovar, has approved the offer of eight new public employment positions with the aim of improving the island administration.
These positions include jobs such as Head of Tax Management and Inspection; IAE Unit Manager; sanctioning procedure technician; management agent (2); executive collection agent (2) and customer service assistant.
The vice-president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and president of the Lanzarote Tax Network, María Jesús Tovar, highlights the need to strengthen and renew the attention and efficiency of a service that primarily addresses the needs of citizens.
“This offer is below the 8% limit for temporary positions, with roles of a structural nature, and is aligned with the general equal opportunity objectives established in current regulations,” explains Tovar.
The Cabildo of Lanzarote will announce relevant information regarding the submission of bids and application deadlines for these eight positions through the media and official channels.
