UGT and the Adislan Works Council denounce that the association, which manages the public places of accommodation and day centers of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, "is not paying its workers in a timely manner" and warns that if it is not resolved soon, it will call mobilizations "with partial and general stoppages in the services."

According to the Works Council, the entity has stated that "they have liquidity problems" and allege that "the Cabildo pays them much less than the actual cost of the services it manages."

For its part, the union assures that "it is not the first time that these delays and non-payments have occurred in the payrolls of Adislan workers", pointing out that both the fractional payments and the delays are "recurrent".

As of today, it states that the workers have not received the extra pay for the month of June, whose maximum payment period should have been June 30. In addition, they add that each worker has currently only received 250 euros from the August payroll.

"The workers of Adislan cannot and should not pay the price for this irregular situation," says the Works Council, which warns that "the quality of the service will be affected, as a result of the anxiety and uncertainty caused by this situation."

For all this, UGT and the Works Council urge the management of Adislan and the Cabildo to "immediately regularize the services managed by the entity, through a social agreement or through the direct public management of the Cabildo, all without putting at risk any job and the quality in the provision of the service."
