The port facilities of Lanzarote dependent on the Ports of the Canary Islands network of the Government of the Canary Islands (Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca, Caleta de Sebo and Órzola) have registered 906,073 travelers during the first semester of 2022, which means almost double the users than in the same period of 2021 when there were 466,549. These data are very close to the levels of occupation prior to the pandemic. In 2019 there were 945,614 travelers in the first half of the year.

Of the four ports belonging to the Community in Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca are very close to reaching pre-covid levels, but both Órzola and Caleta de Sebo have exceeded them. The traffic of travelers between La Graciosa and Lanzarote reached 223,184 passengers, a figure even higher than that of 2019, when 216,337 people were registered in the same period.

After the port of Agaete, the main maritime connection between Tenerife and Gran Canaria, the corridor between Corralejo and Playa Blanca, with 444,430 passengers, is the one that grows the most in number of passengers compared to 2021, when the travelers of regular lines registered were 196,277. This increase coincides with the authorization of the dock in the port of southern Lanzarote, which has facilitated a greater frequency of trips.
