Proexca has made public the main management indicators corresponding to the period between January 2023 and May 2026, data that reflect the scope of the business internationalization and investment attraction policies promoted by the public company in recent years.
During this period, Proexca has generated 1,098 business contacts in international economic promotion actions, has provided support to 653 Canarian companies in their outward expansion processes, and has contributed to the materialization of 219 real business establishments in the Canary Islands.
To these figures are added 559 potential investment opportunities that continue in various stages of development. Furthermore, 24% of these opportunities express interest in establishing themselves in the Canary Islands, without prioritizing a specific island, a figure that highlights that the archipelago is beginning to position itself as a single and cohesive market.
The indicators show the growth of Proexca's activity and the consolidation of its strategy aimed at attracting productive investment, favoring the international expansion of the Canarian business fabric, and generating new economic opportunities for the archipelago.
The territorial balance presented by the results obtained also stands out. Business establishments maintain a conscious distribution between the two capital islands, with 97 establishments in Gran Canaria and 73 in Tenerife. Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, for their part, register 25 and 15 establishments, respectively. These figures are the result of the collaboration of the entire ecosystem of island and regional organizations that promote internationalization in the Canary Islands.
These results are part of the information published by Proexca on its Transparency Portal, where the 2025 Activity Report, the 2026-2027 Action Plan, the 2026-2027 Strategic Lines, and the update of the main management indicators are already available.
The strategy that guides Proexca's activity maintains as its main objectives to lead with governance, attract investments that generate qualified employment, proudly export the talent and knowledge of our companies, and consolidate the archipelago as the great reference tricontinental hub.
