The owner of the traditional Tin-tán bar, located in Arrecife, Juan José Gutiérrez Hernández, assures La Voz that "the price of foods such as oil and potatoes has risen and also even that of oranges."

In this local famous for its requested homemade tapas with traditional flavors, the rise in prices has been "so noticeable" that potatoes at "2.90 euros are being charged to the bars," explains the owner. "We do some juggling," he adds.

The owner has had to "substitute sweet potatoes for potatoes in some dishes" for dishes such as "Sancocho", he confesses to the newspaper. Despite this, he will not stop "offering his traditional dishes with potatoes" since "the customer comes first", he acknowledges.
