Once the 20 cents bonus to the fuel that is applied in the gas stations of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro is discounted, the most expensive gasoline in the archipelago is in El Hierro and Lanzarote this month of July and for the third consecutive month.
With the discount, the liter of gasoline 95 in El Hierro is currently at 1.388 euros on average in July, while in Lanzarote it is paid at 1.377 euros, according to data published by the Lanzarote Data Center based on statistics from the General Directorate of Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The bonus to gasoline in the green islands makes this fuel cheaper than in Lanzarote both in La Palma, where the liter remains in July at 1.223 euros, and in La Gomera, where it is now paid on average 1.290 euros.
In addition, there is the circumstance that in Fuerteventura, which like Lanzarote does not have fuel bonuses, the liter is marking lower prices than in the island of Lanzarote in the last three months. Gasoline costs on average this month in Fuerteventura 1.355 euros per liter.
Of course, as always, prices are lower in Gran Canaria, where it is currently sold at 1.253 euros on average per liter, and in Tenerife, whose average price is located at 1.272 euros.
