The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has once again obtained the highest rating (10 out of 10) in the Transparency Index of the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands, thus consolidating its firm commitment to institutional transparency.
This recognition is part of the evaluation process carried out by the Commissioner for Transparency and Access to Public Information of the Canary Islands, in which the Chamber has been continuously assessed over the last four years. In the two most recent exercises, the institution has achieved the highest possible score, reflecting a clear line of work oriented towards continuous improvement and accountability.
In this edition, the Chamber has particularly stood out in the areas of active advertising, where it has obtained the highest score, and in the voluntary transparency indicator, which demonstrates not only compliance with legal obligations, but also a proactive willingness to offer clear, accessible and updated information to citizens.
In addition, the technical evaluation carried out has highly valued aspects such as the location of information on the institutional website, its accessibility, and the clear and understandable structure of the contents, complying with the most demanding standards of the autonomous transparency framework.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce, José Valle Martínez, has stressed that "with this assessment by the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands, we revalidate the recognition for the effort in communication that has always characterized this institution".
This new milestone reinforces the institution's strategic line, aligned with the highest standards of good governance, integrity and accountability. The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa continues to position itself as a benchmark in transparency within the Canary Islands institutional ecosystem, demonstrating that information openness is not only a legal obligation, but a key tool to generate trust, promote participation and strengthen democratic quality.
