Half a hundred micro-enterprises have so far benefited from the project 'Digitization, Sustainability and Innovation of Lanzarote Companies', designed by the Lanzarote Business Confederation (CEL), with the Cabildo de Lanzarote, as a sign of public-private collaboration.
The president of the Lanzarote Business Confederation (CEL), Beatriz Salazar, explained that "through this project, interested companies can access a completely free personalized diagnosis that evaluates the level of digitization and sustainability of their business."
"This allows them to carry out the necessary actions to improve, such as the creation of web pages, online stores, social media profiles, positioning in search engines or obtaining the digital certificate, in addition to receiving advice and information on subsidies and aid available to promote digitization and sustainability, such as the Digital Kit, among other options," she said.
The project aims to effectively advance digitization, paying special attention to self-employed people and small and medium-sized companies based on the island. "It is about providing them with tools and knowledge that allow them to increase their presence in the digital environment, adapt to new forms of management and improve their competitiveness in the short and medium term," he stressed.
He stressed that this project is part of a continuous process of innovation and sustainability that will mark the future of the island's business fabric. "We are working with public and private entities to promote among all the tools for companies so that they can position themselves and compete in an increasingly demanding market in the digital field," he said.
