The Lanzarote Business Confederation (CEL) and the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen their ties, with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of the island's economic fabric. This union aims to expand, jointly, the services that both institutions offer to companies in the island territory.

The signing of the agreement took place at the CEL headquarters and was attended by its president, Beatriz Salazar, and the highest representative of the Chamber of Commerce, José Valle.

“For the Confederation it is a very important day, since through this agreement we will join efforts to develop and promote actions aimed at business unity, and the economic and social development of Lanzarote”, explains Salazar, who thanks the Chamber for its willingness and its willingness to collaborate in improving the economic ecosystem of the Island.

“It is satisfying to see how the main business associations are on the same line, since I believe that unity is what makes strength”, he adds.

For his part, José Valle, who took the opportunity to congratulate the president on her recent appointment, highlighted the "importance of this connection and focused on the challenges of the island and the role of business development in promoting the society of Lanzarote".

“Unity is the best scenario for the definition and execution of strategic projects for Lanzarote" commented Valle, for whom the signing of this agreement is especially important in these decisive moments in which we are defining the future of the next decades on our island.

The agreement includes the idea of business unity in favor of the economic and social development of the island. To this end, they agree to share information, jointly promote actions that benefit the island's companies and support each other in disseminating information that is of interest to the sector. Through this document, both institutions will be able to develop initiatives, projects and measures in a collaborative manner.

Both business representatives agreed that this signing is the starting point for the definition of "a common line of action", so that the island's companies "have a single voice" and work “in a single path and in a single direction”, concluded Salazar.
