The Lanzarote Business Confederation (CEL) celebrates the decision adopted unanimously by the Board of Directors of the Canary Employers' Confederation (CCE) to propose its president, Beatriz Salazar, as the representative vice-president for Lanzarote for the next term of the regional business organization.
The proposal will be submitted to the CCE Electoral Assembly, scheduled for next June 30, where the election of the different positions that will form the governing bodies of the Canary employers' association will take place.
Therefore, she assumed the responsibility "with enthusiasm, commitment, and the firm will to defend the interests of Lanzarote, while contributing to the strengthening of the entire archipelago's business community, in addition to supporting the development of the island's business fabric and the role our companies play in the Canary Islands."
Salazar highlighted that the presence of island representatives in the governing bodies of the Canary Employers' Confederation is fundamental to reinforcing Lanzarote's voice in strategic decisions for the economic future of the Canary Islands.
The president of the CEL underlined the importance of continuing to advance a common agenda that allows facing challenges such as digital transformation, productivity improvement, talent attraction, sustainability, and the strengthening of the islands' business fabric.
Finally, she thanked the confidence placed in her by the Board of Directors of the Canary Employers' Confederation and reaffirmed her commitment to continue working in defense of the companies, the self-employed, and the entrepreneurs of Lanzarote.
