Puertos Canarios provisionally awards the access control, street furniture and signage in the port of Playa Blanca

The investment exceeds 440,000 euros and has an execution period of six months

The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the public business entity Puertos Canarios, directed by José Gilberto Moreno, has provisionally awarded and on an ordinary basis the project for the installation of access control elements, street furniture and signage in the port of Playa Blanca, on the island of Lanzarote, for 440,565.64 euros, excluding IGIC.

Citanias Obras y Servicios SLU will be in charge of executing these actions, which aim to strengthen security and improve the daily operation of the port after the completion of the expansion work in 2022. The project includes the placement of access control systems, the provision of new street furniture and the improvement of road signage.

José Gilberto Moreno highlighted that “with this action we are advancing in the continuous improvement of our port infrastructures, offering more modern and safe facilities, and responding to the real needs of the users of the port of Playa Blanca, especially in a strategic enclave with high demand for moorings.”

The work has an execution period of six months. With this action, Puertos Canarios reaffirms its commitment to the continuous improvement of port infrastructures and the sustainable development of the archipelago.
