Baleària Canarias has launched Easy Pass, a digital system designed to facilitate boarding for passengers and vehicles on the Playa Blanca-Corralejo route.

This technological solution allows travelers to simply show a QR code during boarding, without having to make a prior reservation or go through the ticket office.

EasyPass is integrated into the Baleària app, from which the user can generate their QR code with a single click that allows them to board. To use this system, users must register with Baleària Club, upload their residency documentation, and add a payment method. The service also offers the option to share the QR with family or friends and facilitates companies' management of employee travel.

The commercial manager of Baleària in the Canary Islands, Jorge Raheb, points out that “from the shipping company, we continue to bet on solutions that facilitate the daily lives of those who live and travel between the islands. EasyPass is one more step in this commitment, as it is a loyalty tool for members who travel frequently and, in addition to simplifying the trip, they can accumulate more advantages in Baleària Club”.

With the launch of this system on the islands, Baleària Canarias "takes another step in the digitalization of its travel experience and in improving the mobility of residents and their vehicles, with an eye on progressively expanding this system to other routes" such as the line connecting Los Cristianos with San Sebastián de La Gomera and Santa Cruz de La Palma or Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
