Four out of ten Lanzarote residents consider the economic situation of their homes to be good or very good, according to the latest Sociobarómetro de Canarias published in July. At the same time, the number of people who judge their situation as bad and those who consider it to be regular decreases.

On the positive side of the spectrum, there has been a increase of 5.2% with respect to the previous Sociobarometer from the end of 2022, which included 34.9% of the island's population under this assumption.

For their part, those who consider their economic situation to be bad or very bad are 11.6% of the population, a figure that decreases slightly more than one and a half points, half a year ago they were 13.2%.

The rest of the Lanzarote residents consider that the state of their economy is regular, they are 48.3%, also lower than the figure from the end of 2022, when it reached 51.9%.

Few changes in the archipelago as a whole

In the Canary Islands as a whole, there have been hardly any changes since the previous survey. In the previous sociobarometer, those who said they had a good economic situation were 37%, now they are 36.6%.

Something similar occurs with those who consider that the economy of their home is in a negative situation, six months ago they were 15.4% and currently it reaches 15.1%. The rest are in intermediate positions.
