The interurban buses of Lanzarote transported a total of 8.2 million passengers in 2025, an 8.1% increase compared to 2024.
The increase represents about 620,000 more passengers than in 2024, according to data provided by the Lanzarote Data Center.
July was the month with the largest numerical increase, 94,300 more travelers in 2025 than the previous year for a total of 741,896 people. In percentage terms, the growth was 10.6%.
The largest percentage increase occurred in October, with 11.7% more travelers than during the same month of 2024 for a total of 708,392 users.
Also, 700,000 travelers were surpassed in August (722,709), in November (724,494), and in December (731,639).
Regarding reinforcements, the Cabildo reported in January on the new Hospital Line 4h, as well as the increase in frequencies on the Arrecife–Playa Blanca lines (6, 60, and 62)
It also extended hours on Line 7 (Arrecife–Máguez), Line 10 (Arrecife–Los Valles), and Line 9 (Arrecife–Órzola).
