The International Flamenco Fashion Week, SIMOF 2025, has Canary Islands as its guest region this year, which will have a unique stand so that Canary designers can show their collections between January 30 and February 2.
Canarias Islas de Moda is born from the joint work between Proexca and the councils with the brands Tenerife Moda, Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, Lanzarote Moda and Isla Bonita Moda.
This sectorial plan drawn up to promote the textile sector in the Canary Islands towards external growth means that the executive accompanies Canarian companies in these actions, to position and be able to sell Canarian products in a global market.
The confirmed Canarian designers are Oswaldo Machín, from Lanzarote; Inmaculada Rodrigues, By Loleiro, Juan Carlos Armas and Amarca, from Tenerife; OGADENIA Couture, from Gran Canaria and Diazar Atelier, from La Palma.
SIMOF, one of the most important fairs in the sector, is precisely 30 years old and is doing it in style, with 1,625 designs and 47 fashion shows. Canarias Islas de Moda presents its campaign “Roots, passion and accent”.
"The passion of Canarian fashion professionals goes hand in hand with sustainability. The quality of the raw materials, the finishes and the creation processes is an essential requirement for this sector," explain from Proexca.
Islas de Moda has had an external campaign at the airport of Seville and also at Renfe, on the line that connects with Madrid. In addition, specialized press will be informed of the prototypes that the Canarian designers will present.
"The brotherhood between flamenco fashion and Canarian fashion highlights the common points of an industry that moves with its own accent, inspired by its roots and united by the passion for its land," according to Proexca.
