The Cabildo of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, with the support of the Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of Lanzarote (FELAPYME), announces that the citizen acquisition phase of the ‘Bonos Consume 2026’ has concluded. All vouchers were claimed during the opening period of the telematic system in its two daily calls, set for 08:00 and 17:00 hours, respectively.

On both occasions, the vouchers lasted barely a few minutes. The president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, recalled that “the priority objective at this time is focused on meeting the consumption deadlines to ensure the proper development of the program for the benefit of citizens' economy”.

For his part, the Minister of Commerce and Consumption of the Cabildo, Armando Santana, insisted on the importance of users planning the use of their vouchers within the valid dates. The minister detailed that “the technical search engine remains enabled to facilitate the location of points of sale, and highlighted that, for organizational reasons, vouchers that remain unused after the established deadline cannot be recovered”.

The objective of this public initiative, which is in its fifth edition in 2026, is to implement direct measures for the revitalization and support of the local commercial fabric in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. The campaign incentivizes local consumption through a co-financing system that benefits both users and small and medium-sized enterprises on the islands.

The count confirms 200 as the final number of participating businesses in this campaign. This commercial network includes establishments located in the different municipalities of the island, distributed as follows: Arrecife with 131 businesses, Playa Honda with 16, Tías with 12, Puerto del Carmen with 11, Playa Blanca with 8, Costa Teguise with 5, San Bartolomé with 4, Tinajo with 4, Yaiza with 3, Haría with 2, Arrieta with 2, Mozaga with 1, and Puerto Calero with 1 business.

The Consumption Department reminds those who have acquired the vouchers that the period to use them and make purchases at participating establishments will remain open until November 15, 2026. After this deadline, unredeemed vouchers will become void.

All information, the call for applications, and a detailed search of participating businesses by area and sector are accessible on the program's official website www.consumelanzarote.org.
