At the close of November, the César Manrique airport has registered 7,510,078 passengers, which represents 12.1% more than those counted last year, according to figures provided by Aena.
Only during the past month there were 688,255 passengers at the Lanzarote airport, 8.9% more than during the same month of the previous year.
Overall, the Canarian airports have registered 4,300,136 passengers in the month of November, exceeding the data from the same month of 2022 by 7.5%.
In the accumulated of the year until November, this figure amounts to 43,976,856 travelers, 11.8% more than in the same period of the previous year.
All the airports of the Canary Islands, with the exception of La Palma, register record figures of passenger traffic both in the month of November and in the accumulated of the year.
Rest of the islands
During November, the Gran Canaria Airport registered the highest number of passengers with 1,260,578, which represents 5.2% more than in 2022.
Followed by the Tenerife South Airport, with 1,177,497 passengers and an increase of 10.8% over the past year; Fuerteventura, with 529,050 (+7.2%); Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 492,084 (+4.7%); La Palma, with 119,590 (+4.7%); El Hierro, with 24,363 (+5.1%) and La Gomera, with 8,719 travelers and the highest percentage growth, with 11.4% more.
In these eleven months, the Gran Canaria Airport registered 12,610,992 passengers, which represents 13.2% more than in the same period of 2022.
Followed by the Tenerife South Airport, which with 11,118,233 passengers counts an increase of 14.3%; Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 5,613,382 (+10.5%); Fuerteventura, with 5,501,856(+7%); La Palma, with 1,240,474 (+4.2%), El Hierro, with 277,238 (+10.1%) and La Gomera, with 104,603 passengers, where the highest percentage growth is registered with an increase of 20.5% compared to the same period of 2022.
