Iberia Express will increase its operations with the archipelago with 16 extra flights and 2,800 additional seats to respond to the increase in demand for the May bank holiday in Madrid.

Lanzarote will have two additional flights, while Tenerife will have six additional flights between its two airports; while Gran Canaria and La Palma will have four more flights per destination.

In total, from April 26 to May 6, Iberia Express will operate a total of 542 flights and more than 108,000 seats between Madrid and the archipelago. These figures include the growth programmed by the airline for this summer, which, added to the additional flights, represents an increase of 78 percent compared to the May bank holiday of 2023.

Iberia Express offers up to 12 daily round-trip flights between Tenerife and Madrid (eight to Tenerife North and two to Tenerife South), and another 10 daily flights between Gran Canaria and Madrid. In addition, it offers daily and direct flights from Madrid to Fuerteventura, La Palma and Lanzarote.
