HiperDino workers from Lanzarote, together with family and friends, participated this Sunday in a repopulation activity, in which they planted 100 new specimens of thermophilic forest species in an area belonging to the recreational area of El Bosquecillo de Haría.
The repopulation has been promoted by the DinoSol Foundation, an entity through which HiperDino manages all its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions, and has had the involvement of the Foresta Foundation and the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
The director of the DinoSol Foundation, Virginia Ávila, the Minister of Environment of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Samuel Martín, and the director of the Foresta Foundation, Alicia Rodríguez, have been some of the attendees to this awareness day
environmental.
For the DinoSol Foundation, this is the third action of this nature that it carries out in the archipelago, within the commitment that the Canarian chain maintains, through its foundation, with the reforestation of spaces and natural environments to contribute
to avoid the loss of ecosystems and stop the deterioration of the planet.
The next conference will be held in November in La Palma and will also have the participation of HiperDino workers from that island.
The DinoSol Foundation was born in March 2017 with the aim of promoting individual, collective and family well-being, and improving the quality of life and professional training of all workers and collaborators who are part of HiperDino.
It also supports the social and cultural development of Canarian society and actively participates in solidarity activities.
