In November, Canary Islands was at the bottom of the autonomous communities in payment to suppliers with an average payment period of 40.92 days, when the national average reached 26.6 days.
This is an almost invariable figure compared to the previous month, when a PMP of 26.59 days was recorded, so the communities have already spent a full year with payment terms below 30 days, which is the maximum period established in the regulations.
The Ministry of Finance and Public Function states in a statement that this "historical data" is largely due to the resources transferred by the central government to the autonomous governments, which have managed to mitigate the impact of the crisis on companies and SMEs that are suppliers to these executives.
No community presents this month a PMP higher than the term of 60 days, the limit from which the Ministry of Finance begins to apply the measures provided for in the stability regulations.
