Proexca and the other members of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Canary Islands consortium, together with the other EEN consortia from the rest of the country, are meeting these days in Madrid with representatives from the European Commission's Executive Agency for the European Innovation Council and SMEs (EISMEA).

The EEN network brings together institutions that support small and medium-sized European companies to internationalize through innovation.

From September 30 to October 2, Proexca and the other members of the EEN Canarias consortium are participating in Madrid in the Annual Conference of the members of the Spanish network of the Enterprise Europe Network.

For three days, the members of the Spanish EEN consortia will meet with representatives of the Executive Agency for the European Innovation Council and SMEs - EISMEA to present the progress of their activities and the results obtained so far.

It will also be an opportunity to convey to the European Commission the difficulties or challenges that the consortia face when carrying out their activities.

Thematic round tables will be organized, which will allow to know the way of working and the methodologies used by each consortium in order to meet the requirements of EISMEA and the objectives established in their work plans.

Also, two trainings will be offered: one on artificial intelligence in the work of the EEN advisor, and another on sustainability.

The EEN supports small and medium-sized companies in their internationalization process. The objective of the network is to help companies innovate and grow internationally.

This support is key for Canarian companies, which, supported by the executive, develop growth plans abroad that help diversify the archipelago's economy and become more competitive internationally.

The next annual meeting of the Spanish consortia of the EEN will be organized by the EEN Canarias consortium (CEIEC25) and will take place in 2025 in Tenerife.
