The presidents of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, and of Binter, Rodolfo Núñez, presented this Friday the new routes of the airline, which for the first time will offer flights to Madrid from the islands.
Specifically, Binter will offer four daily routes to the capital of Spain from Gran Canaria and another four from Tenerife Norte. The company's flights from Lanzarote to connect with these routes will be free.
Tickets can already be found on the airline's website, at a price of 20 euros, which with airport taxes would be around 50 euros round trip.
These flights, which include hand luggage of up to eight kilos, will land in terminal 2 of Barajas Airport, where Binter is opening a base with three aircraft.
These are low-emission Embraer aircraft, the manufacturer to which it has ordered six new units of the E195-E2 aircraft, which will allow it to increase the fleet of this model to 16 aircraft.
