Puertos Canarios has awarded to PSM CONNECT SYSTEMS S.L. the drafting of the project and the execution of the works related to the self-consumption photovoltaic installation in the port of Caleta de Sebo, in La Graciosa, for an amount of 198,321.20 euros, without IGIC, and an execution period of eight months.
The intervention contemplates the installation of photovoltaic panels on pergolas or canopies, a solution that will allow covering part of the port's energy demand with renewable generation and, at the same time, enable new shaded areas for users and improve the functionality of the enclosure.
The action is part of the strategy of Puertos Canarios to modernize its infrastructures, advance in the decarbonization of the directly managed ports of the Autonomous Community and extend self-consumption solutions in port areas of general interest.
Furthermore, the project relies on the line of aid aimed at promoting photovoltaic generation in anthropized spaces, reinforcing the public entity's commitment to the energy transition and the Ecopuertos Autonómicos de Canarias model.
