Aena launches tender for the management of the Lanzarote airport car park

​This service will be tendered in 34 airports throughout Spain, divided into two lots of more than 40 million euros each.

Aena has launched a tender for the management of the car parks of 34 airports throughout Spain, including Lanzarote. According to the company, "the objective is to provide the car park management service with the highest quality and safety conditions, betting on the incorporation of all those technological innovations that contribute to improving the customer experience, creating contactless and ticketless smart car parks."

To this end, it indicates that it wants to have "service companies of recognised prestige and capacity to manage the car parks as a whole effectively and flexibly".

"This file includes new tasks and aspects in the management of car parks, such as the management service for electric recharging and H24 technological support, which allows resolving possible incidents in an agile and efficient manner", Aena points out.

The car parks that are being tendered have been divided into two lots, and the one in Lanzarote is being tendered together with those in Madrid-Barajas, A Coruña, Asturias, Bilbao, El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Jerez, La Palma, Pamplona, San Sebastián, Santiago, Santander, Seville, Tenerife North, Tenerife South, Valladolid and Vigo, for a total of 41.4 million euros.

The duration of the contract will be three years, with the possibility of two extensions of one year each.
