The Cabildo of Tenerife hosted this Wednesday the presentation of 'Canarian Airways', a new airline "100% Canarian" led by hoteliers from Tenerife and One Airways, which will begin operating from the second half of June from the Tenerife South Airport with a single plane.

This new airline, which also has the participation of the Cabildo of Tenerife, will launch the sale and reservation of tickets from next March and, in principle, will fly to destinations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Glasgow, Cardiff and Berlin.

The presentation ceremony was attended by the president of the Cabildo, Pedro Martín; the Minister of Tourism, José Gregorio Martín Plata; the spokesperson for the Sí Podemos Canarias Group, María José Belda; the director of the company, Jorge Marichal, and the member of the Board of Directors and CEO of the airline, Óscar Trujillo.
