La Voz de Lanzarote finished the informative year 2024/2025 consolidating its outstanding leadership among the media in Lanzarote, with 552,000 unique users during the month of July 2025.
In a general context of decline in the traffic of the media, the local reference media in Lanzarote continues to maintain solid audience figures, thanks to the loyalty of its readers and its strong interactivity with the community.
For greater confidence of its advertisers, since last February its audience is audited by OJD, being the only local media that offers traffic data audited by an entity of recognized prestige in the publishing market.
Continuous improvement in content and web platform
Along with a constant evolution of its web platform, La Voz launched its English edition last May. This milestone responds to the demographic evolution that the island is experiencing and the growing interest that local information arouses outside the island's borders. With data from 2024, 23.9% of residents were foreigners, mostly from non-Spanish speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy, Morocco and Germany. In addition to the fact that last year 2024 alone, the island registered 3.4 million tourists who arrived through the Airport and 600,000 cruise passengers.
The launch of the English edition represents a new advance in the technological improvements and editorial diversification undertaken in recent years, with a continuous improvement in the offer of contents and the performance of the website, with the aim of further consolidating the outstanding leadership on the Internet in our geographical area, with very competitive traffic figures even at the regional level.
