The Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Lanzarote Cabildo, continues to reinforce its commitment to innovation and the vanguard of the island's economic fabric. Under the slogan "20 years of innovation and technology," with which the chamber institution commemorates its two decades of trajectory, next Wednesday, June 17, the "Tech Nexus" Technology Forum will be held. This strategic forum is born with the objective of bringing closer and making known how disruptive technologies are transforming business models and opening new competitive advantages for companies in the Canary Islands. The initiative is integrated within the "ImpulsaTech Lanzarote" program, a technological dynamization and training project financed by the Cabildo.
Cybersecurity and Applied Artificial Intelligence
The training day will open with specialized presentations by renowned professionals. Firstly, Rodrigo Melián Alonso, CEO of Rodma Solutions, will analyze the main current computer risks and the unavoidable need to invest in cybersecurity to protect business assets. For her part, Yolanda Hernández, consultant and trainer in AI, will delve into the practical applications and tools of Artificial Intelligence within Human Resources management.
Dialogue tables: Innovation in hospitality and the textile industry
The central core of the Tech Nexus forum will consist of two round tables made up of experts who will share success stories and real innovation. The first table will focus on the hospitality sector, with contributions from Marius Badea (Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife), who will detail the culinary experience through videomapping of 'Le Petit Chef'; Hang Jiang (Grupo Kokoxili), a pioneer in the introduction of robot waiters in the archipelago; and Sergio Moreno, researcher at Emoturlab
(ULPGC), who will reveal the use of neuromarketing applied to customer demands through his 'Emofood' initiative.
The second debate space will focus on the fashion and textile sectors. Francisco Luque Ariza, CEO and creative director of Gallobuey, a firm renowned for designing garments and accessories with 3D printing; Natalia Ridao, director of VirtualON, specializing in the development of virtual fitting rooms using immersive technologies; and Elena Corchero, an international expert in technology, applied innovation, and smart textiles, will participate.
