Spar Lanzarote and the artist Sergio Vicente Rodríguez have joined forces to hold a digital art exhibition called “Patrimonio” and “Cruce x Má” from July 1 to 31 at the Eurospar supermarket in Altavista, in Arrecife.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sergio, known on Instagram as @svicentedigitalart, is passionate about art and the digital world, hence his fusion and illustrations based on the heritage of Lanzarote. As he himself acknowledges “digital composition allows me to freely mix, trace, paint, draw, break and fix and re-break each illustration, image, each stroke”.
With the Patrimonio series “I intend to show part of the essence of our past and present. In the small and large details that normally go unnoticed by our eyes, absorbed in other matters”.
This action reinforces the commitment that the Lanzarote company has with its people and local products. In this case, giving opportunities to new artists from Lanzarote to exhibit their works and to the establishment's clients, so that they can enjoy art in everyday areas, such as going to the supermarket.
