Ryanair Group (including Buzz and Lauda) has reported this Sunday that it will drastically reduce its flights to and from Spain from midnight on Sunday, March 15, until midnight on Thursday, March 19. The company explains that this is in response to the Spanish Government's decision to close the country in its entirety to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

The company is contacting all affected passengers by email informing them of the options available to them and urges customers not to contact the airline.

In this complex and changing situation, the safety and well-being of employees and passengers is the company's top priority. Ryanair will continue to fully comply with WHO and EASA guidelines, and will respect any travel restrictions imposed.

Ryanair Group extends its sincere apologies to all customers who have been affected by these restrictions to combat the Covid-19 virus.
