Rancho Texas Park, in collaboration with the Institute of Marine Sciences – CSIC, announces the launch of the European Blue Schools project (European Blue Schools) on the island, within the ProBleu program.

The initiative aims to awaken ocean awareness in young people, bringing the sea closer to the classroom and fostering the active commitment of students to the protection of the marine environment.
Being a Blue School means joining a European network of educational centers committed to the ocean and sustainability. Participating schools will develop real projects linked to the sea, science, and care for the planet, with the support of educational resources and specialized advice throughout the course.

Who is it aimed at?
The program is open to all educational stages: from Early Childhood Education to Vocational Training Cycles. Among the advantages, the centers will receive official certification as a European Blue School, free access to materials and activities, as well as visibility in an international network of committed schools.
