Hospiten Group has activated a video consultation service for the care of its patients, free of charge during the month of April, with the aim of resolving health doubts and facilitating contact with specialists.
In parallel to this initiative, we have maintained all services at full capacity for the daily operation of our hospitals: 24-hour emergencies, outpatient consultations, hospitalization, intensive care unit, operating rooms, laboratory, radiodiagnosis, dialysis unit.
The video consultation system, aimed at patients with a medical history at Hospiten, will allow video consultations with the specialties of pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics and internal medicine, being able to resolve doubts about the evolution of their disease, treatment, medication, results or request for diagnostic tests, requesting an appointment through the usual telephone number of their hospital, which will provide the patient with the access link to the video consultation via email.
Also, free of charge for patients with a medical history at Hospiten, general medicine video consultations can be requested to resolve doubts about symptoms and recommendations related to COVID-19, as well as aspects of general medicine. To access this service, you will also contact the usual call center of the hospital center.
This video consultation initiative seeks to keep the attention to its patients active and provide adequate medical response in health matters by its professionals.
The video consultation is operational from April 7 in the Hospiten centers in Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Estepona and Algeciras. In this sense, patients can make connections from home through their computer, tablet or mobile phone.
Through this platform, the security of information is guaranteed, since it is integrated into the Hospiten appointment process, guaranteeing secure communication between professionals and patients, complying with the highest level of protection.
