The Minister of Crafts, Commerce and Consumption of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María del Carmen Guadalupe, and the Mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera, together with the Commercial and Operations Director of HiperDino, Olivia Llorca, and the Marketing and Communication Director of the chain, Carlos García, visited the facilities of the new HiperDino located in the industrial area of Playa Honda this morning.
The visit also included the attendance of the Councilor for Urban Planning and Industrial Zone of the municipality, Marlene Romero, and the Councilor for Public Services, Raúl de León.
During the tour, the authorities confirmed HiperDino's commitment to the island and the society of Lanzarote in general after investing 4,350,000 euros in this action. This is the largest establishment of the chain, with 4,186 square meters of sales area and currently employs 85 people.
New sections and services
Located in the industrial estate of Playa Honda, the new establishment has been completely renovated, has a wide variety of references and quality products, and has all the sections including fresh products such as fruit and vegetables, delicatessen, butchery, fishmonger and bakery, as well as others such as organic.
This reform has also allowed the incorporation of other new sections such as premium wine cellar, gourmet, ham cutting corner and pharmacy with assisted service.
With spacious, accessible and modern spaces, LED lighting has been installed throughout the room, as well as in all sections, and efficient refrigeration systems, which allows to continue promoting environmentally friendly measures.
To improve the customer's shopping experience, the store has other complementary services such as free wifi, home delivery service and a large parking area. Its opening hours are from Monday to Saturday, from 08.30 to 21.30 hours.
Strategic Plan for 2021
The chain is already working on its Strategic Plan for new stores and renovations for 2021, which includes actions on all the islands where it has a presence.
In this context, it is intended to carry out the renovation of its park of stores in Lanzarote, to modernize all the facilities and adapt them to the new image of the company.
