The Canary Islands have reported this Friday 855 new cases of coronavirus, with a slight improvement compared to the previous two days. In addition, in the last hours another two patients have died, one of 57 years and the other of 78. The two deaths have occurred in Tenerife and according to the Ministry of Health, the deceased had "previous pathologies".
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands is 247.02 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days in 487.28 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds this Friday 446 cases, Gran Canaria 325, Fuerteventura 53, Lanzarote 21, La Palma 8 and La Gomera 2, while El Hierro has not registered any.
The data reported today represent a decrease of 168 positives compared to last Friday, when 1,023 new infections were confirmed.
Until this Friday, 1,823,071 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 9,255 correspond to the previous day.
