The PSOE has won the European elections in the Canary Islands, with 30.46% of the votes, followed closely by the PP with 29.27%, with Vox in third place with 12.01% and Coalición Canaria fourth, with 10.09%.
With 98.15% of the votes counted, the fifth political force on the islands is Se acabó la fiesta, with 6.30% of the votes, followed by Sumar, with 4.01% and Podemos with 3.43%.
The PSOE loses 1.5 points compared to its results in the 2019 European elections, the PP gains almost 13.5 points, Vox rises 8.7 points and CC loses more than 10 points, while Podemos falls almost seven points compared to the results of Podemos IU five years ago.
The PSOE won on the islands of Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, Lanzarote and Tenerife, while the PP won on El Hierro and La Palma.
