Pevolca has activated this Wednesday night new evacuations in the municipalities of Los Llanos de Aridane and Tazacorte due to the forecast of the advance of the lava flows that run further northwest and their proximity to the boundary area of the already evacuated perimeter.
It has been ordered for the neighborhoods of Las Martelas, in Los Llanos de Aridane, and those of Marina Alta, Marina Baja, La Condesa and Cuesta Zapata, in Tazacorte.
Specifically, the evacuations have been carried out from the LP-213 road at the intersection with Camino Nicolás Brito Pais, heading north, to the intersection with Camino Martelas de Abajo. In a scattered line, southwest direction, to the intersection of the La Laguna-Tazacorte Highway (LP-215) with Cuesta Zapata.
At this point, in Cuesta Zapata, heading west, continuing along Camino Pintor Cándido Camacho Gómez until connecting with Calle Ángel Santana López southwest to Carretera La Costa, connecting along the road that leads to the San Borondón viewpoint.
As of 8:30 p.m., the people affected by this evacuation order have vacated their homes, with their belongings and pets, and "go to the meeting points located," explains Pevolca.
