Germany has removed the Canary Islands from the destinations considered to be at 'risk' for travel due to the incidence of the coronavirus, as confirmed by the Canarian president himself, Ángel Víctor Torres, on his official Twitter account.
The German Government adopted this decision on Wednesday night in view of the "favorable epidemiological situation" in the Canary Islands, which has allowed it to leave the risk zones, so that Germans will be able to travel to the archipelago.
Torres has described this decision by the German Government as "good news", as it is a measure that will come into effect from Saturday, October 24.
