Four deaths and 929 new cases of Covid in people over 60 in the Canary Islands in 4 days

Currently, there are 305 people hospitalized with coronavirus in the Archipelago, of which 19 are in the ICU and 286 are on the ward.

The Canary Islands has registered four deaths of patients with Covid since last Friday, as well as 929 positives in people over 60 years of age, which is the only age group that is still being monitored.

Three of the deaths have been reported in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife and the deceased were between 57 and 93 years old. "They had previous pathologies and were in hospital admission," says the Ministry of Health.

The Accumulated Incidence in people over 60 years of age is 751.44 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days and 350.69 in 7 days.
