Coalición Canaria would maintain its expectation of obtaining 0.1% of the votes cast in a general election if the elections were held now, according to the results of the latest survey conducted by the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS).

The organization widens the gap between the PSOE and the PP to 15 points in a hypothetical election thanks to the rise of the socialists, who would win with 34.8% of the estimated vote, and the collapse of the conservatives, who would remain at 19.8% with Vox getting closer and closer.

The sampling, based on 4,029 interviews conducted between October 1 and 7, grants Santiago Abascal's party an estimated vote of 17.7%, four tenths more than in September, while the PP loses 3.9 points and the PSOE gains 2.1.

The percentage that the CIS attributes to the PP leaves it for the first time in this legislature below 20 points of electoral support and is the lowest figure that the formation led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo would obtain since the last elections.

In fourth place remains Sumar, with 7.7% (-0.2 points) followed by Podemos, which achieves 4.9% (+0.6 points); behind, the Catalan pro-independence party ERC, which gets 2% (one tenth less), and Alvise's party, Se Acabó la Fiesta, with 1.3% (three tenths down).

Junts would take 1% (+0.2), the same estimate as EH-Bildu, which drops one tenth, while the PNV rises three tenths to 0.9% and the BNG loses one tenth and stands at 0.8%.

Coalición Canaria and UPN retain their vote estimate of 0.1%, according to the same October barometer.

Pedro Sánchez the preferred leader for citizens

As for the main leaders, the leader of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, is the citizens' preferred choice to be president of the Government, according to 26.4% of those interviewed (24.8% in September), while the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, continues to be surpassed by Santiago Abascal, since the Vox leader is the favorite for 10% and the head of the opposition, for 8.4%.

On average, none pass, although Sánchez improves slightly and achieves a 4.44; Abascal continues to have the worst score (2.89) and Feijóo is left with a 3.46. The second vice president and minister of Social Economy and Labor, Yolanda Díaz, gets a 4.24, the second best score after the head of the Executive.

However, distrust towards the main leaders is widespread, since 67.1% distrust Pedro Sánchez and 83.7% distrust Alberto Núñez Feijóo. At the same time, only 31.7% trust the president and 15.1% trust the leader of the PP.

Housing, the main concern of Spaniards

Housing is consolidating as the main concern of Spaniards and rises to 37.1% of mentions in the survey, followed by immigration (20.5%) and problems related to the quality of employment (18.3%).

In addition, 54.2% consider the economic situation in Spain to be "bad" or "very bad," but 66% say that their personal situation is "good" or "very good."
