Canary Islands registers eleven positive cases of coronavirus in the last 48 hours

Active cases decrease to 128 as 51 medical discharges occur since Tuesday

The Canary Islands has added eleven positive cases of coronavirus in the last 48 hours, bringing the total to 2,627 cases since the health crisis began, although active cases have decreased by 51 and stand at 128.

Thus, of the total active cases, 128, one is in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while 13 are on hospital wards and 114 are under home surveillance, according to the latest data published by the Canary Islands Ministry of Health after 2:00 PM.

Regarding medical discharges, 2,337 have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic, while the number of deaths stands at 162.
