The deaths in the Canary Islands due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours have been 12 deaths, nine in Tenerife and three in Gran Canaria, pending validation by the General Directorate of Public Health. in such a way that the deaths are at 1,413, according to data provided by the Ministry of Health of the regional Executive.
As for the cases, 843 new positive Covid-19 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, in such a way that it accumulates 256,079, of which 102,131 are active, of which 93 are admitted to the ICU (-1), 610 remain hospitalized (+14) and 101,428 are in their homes (+489).
Currently, the Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands continues to fall to 498.95 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days it decreases to 1,491.62 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Until this Sunday, a total of 3,091,379 diagnostic tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 4,855 correspond to Saturday.
By islands, Tenerife adds 258 cases to accumulate 119,923, of which 47,274 are epidemiologically active; while Gran Canaria registers 374 more positives up to 94,459 cases, of which 42,796 are active.
Likewise, Lanzarote adds 47 new cases to accumulate 18,107, of which 4,303 are epidemiologically active; and Fuerteventura registers 43 more positives to include 12,505 cases, of which 6,292 are active.
La Palma, on the other hand, adds 73 new positives to accumulate 8,091 cases, of which 1,164 are active; La Gomera adds 19 new positives, bringing the total to 1,485 cases, of which 127 are active; and El Hierro adds 29 new positives to include 1,509, of which 175 are active.
