The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reports this Monday a total of 1,171 positive cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected since the pandemic began to 118,156.
In total there are 14,290 active cases, of which 291 are hospitalized on the ward (+23) and 59 in the ICU (+2).
In addition, four deaths have been recorded, bringing the number of deaths to 1,091.
By islands, Tenerife adds 708 cases, with an accumulated 57,312 infections, of which 8,519 remain active, and Gran Canaria registers 346 new cases and reaches 43,967 since the beginning of the pandemic, with 4,479 active cases.
Lanzarote adds 41 infections and has an accumulated 8,203 and 454 active; Fuerteventura reports 46 cases that bring its accumulated to 6,177 and 1,238 active while La Palma reports 24 cases that raise its accumulated to 1,491 of which 169 are active.
La Gomera adds five infections and raises its accumulated to 512, 41 of them active, and El Hierro adds three cases to reach 492 accumulated and 19 active.
The Accumulated Incidence (AI) continues to grow and at 7 days it stands at 414.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 565.96 cases.
So far, a total of 2,569,545 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Canary Islands, of which 76,566 correspond to the last week, with 13% of positive samples.
