Canary Islands adds 376 cases of Covid and two deaths

The Canary Islands has provisionally added this Saturday 376 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total accumulated to 105,154 infections since the beginning of the pandemic, while we must regret two deaths on the island of Tenerife.

According to reports from the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, there are currently 4,740 active patients, of which 39 are admitted to the ICU and 212 remain hospitalized.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 119.17 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 210.21 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 126 cases with a total of 49,730 accumulated cases and 1,995 epidemiologically active cases; and Gran Canaria has 40,289 accumulated cases, 159 more than the previous day and 2,003 active.

Lanzarote registers 24 new cases with 7,607 accumulated and 185 epidemiologically active; and Fuerteventura has 5,309 accumulated cases, with 57 new cases, and 454 active.

For its part, La Palma adds eight new positives, bringing the total to 1,282 accumulated and 80 active. El Hierro does not add new positives, so its accumulated are 469 and it has one active case. La Gomera adds two new cases, bringing the total to 467 and its assets are 22.

Until this Saturday, a total of 2,435,181 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 8,246 correspond to the previous day.
