This Sunday, the Canary Islands has reported a total of 1,646 positive cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected people since the pandemic began to 158,151, with 48,646 active cases, of which 63 (+1) are admitted to the ICU and 396 are in hospital wards (+20).
In addition, in the last few hours there have been another three deaths in Tenerife, bringing the total number of deaths in the islands to 1,145, according to the Ministry of Health.
The Cumulative Incidence (IA) at 7 days is 1,128.56 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days is 1,875.91 cases.
By islands, Tenerife has 626 new positive cases, bringing the total to 79,451 accumulated and 27,416 active; while Gran Canaria contributes 747, with 56,439 accumulated and 15,483 active.
In Lanzarote, 190 new positive cases have been reported, with 10,739 accumulated and 2,152 active; and in Fuerteventura 52, bringing the total to 7,358 accumulated and 2,301 active.
In La Palma, for its part, the Ministry of Health reports 18 cases, increasing the number of accumulated cases to 2,612, with 992 active; in La Gomera, 12 more cases, with 867 accumulated and 166 active; and in El Hierro, another case, with 678 accumulated and 132 active.
Until this day, 2,775,887 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the archipelago, of which 7,159 correspond to the last day, with a positivity rate of over 24.88%.
