The company Binter will only operate flights to or from La Palma airport with sufficient daylight, as indicated by the authorities, due to the ash from the volcanic eruption in Cumbre Vieja.

With the change to winter time that will occur in the early hours of this Sunday, around 6:30 p.m. it will be dark, so visibility will not be guaranteed, and therefore, from that time Binter will not operate with La Palma.

Through social networks, Binter argues that this measure seeks to guarantee "sufficient visibility" for the crew.

The airline indicates that it is "a temporary measure that will change as soon as the eruption of the La Palma volcano subsides", and then it will resume its usual schedule with La Palma.
