The president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Astrid Pérez, received this Tuesday the XIV Report 'The state of poverty in Spain', monitoring the European indicator of poverty and social exclusion in our country (Arope).
The document was delivered in the presidential office by the vice president of the same entity, Fernando Rodríguez. “With this radiography we can take stock of the indicators of poverty and social exclusion in the islands and the situation of the most vulnerable people in the Canary Islands. Fundamental data to structure social and economic policies that allow us to continue reducing inequalities among the population,” said the president of the Chamber, Astrid Pérez.
After the delivery, the vice president of EAPN-Canarias, Fernando Rodríguez, attended to the media in the Presidential Room.
